A Diagnosis is Not a Death Sentence

The moment has arrived. After countless weeks, months or even years of uncertainty- you’ve finally received a diagnosis. What now?

Entering the world of Bipolar disorder can be a terrifying, often confusing one. If you’re like me and immediately start researching your disorder, it can seem like an overbearing amount of symptoms and statistics. Nothing is more daunting than information overload. The relentless stigma surrounding mental illness not only hinders individuals from seeking help, but creates an ill definition of what it’s really like to be Bipolar.

It may feel like you are given a label that will follow you for the rest of your life, but a diagnosis is not a death sentence. The type or severity of your disorder doesn’t determine your quality of life, and no one can speak on your experience but you. Recovery is possible for everyone.

In Manic Depressive Messages, we’re going to cover an array of topics regarding personal and spiritual growth, inner demons, practical advice, and everything in between. In today’s society, awareness and support are at an all time low. You are not alone because you feel alone.

Join me, as we re-define and re-imagine living with Bipolar disorder.
